Paul Tobias is a childhood friend of Axl Rose (and has arguably been a part of Guns n' Roses since the beginning,He was thanked in the 'Appetite for Destruction' Credits). He co-wrote "Back Off Bitch", "Shadow of your love", "Oh my God" and played rhythm guitar in "Sympathy For The Devil". He officially joined Guns N' Roses in 1994. Slash claims that this was the final straw which pushed him into leaving Guns N' Roses. Axl had officially introduced a guitarist into the band and had him record parts of a song without consulting anyone else. Slash also claims he never got along with Tobias anyway.
Tobias is sometimes known as "Paul Huge".
Paul Tobias played live in concert at Las Vegas Hall Of Blues, Rock In Rio III, and the two Las Vegas 2001 concerts.
He was replaced by Richard Fortus in 2002.
